And the key take-away? Well… don’t get rid of your shaving soaps yet. Better than plain water, less good than olive oil.
Another fine Friday shave. The “Airline” Tech is a very smooth shaver, perhaps a little on the light side but that is part of its charm.

Is there a better way to start a fresh year than with a refreshing shave? I would say no, but then again… I am somewhat biased in favour of nice shaves.
Last shave of the year, and I’m not even in my own den… still a great shave, though with a razor that is one hundred and six years old by now.
I’m starting to see the end, both of the year and of the tub of soap. And the AutoStrop is a remarkable smooth and delightful razor to use.
A rare Saturday shave. And yes, still working on it.
