A wonderous Wednesday shave.
A “back to the roots” kind of shave – today’s setup is pretty close to the first kit I bought.
Except for the blade, the prep, and about thirteen years experience with traditional wetshaving, that is.

New week, new shave, and an experiment of sorts. I’ve done things like that before, but…

Pre-Shave: Proraso Pre Shave Cream
Lather: Dr Bronner’s 18-in-1 Pure Castile Soap (Tea Tree)
Aftershave: Barber No3 Marmara

Alum Block
And the key take-away? Well… don’t get rid of your shaving soaps yet. Better than plain water, less good than olive oil.
Another fine Friday shave. The “Airline” Tech is a very smooth shaver, perhaps a little on the light side but that is part of its charm.
A nice shave on a day off.
