Friday, already?
Another fine midweek shave.

New week, new shave, and an experiment of sorts. I’ve done things like that before, but…

Razor: Gillette “Big Fellow”
Blade: Treet Platinum
Brush: Vie-Long #12705B
Pre-Shave: Proraso Pre Shave Cream
Lather: Dr Bronner’s 18-in-1 Pure Castile Soap (Tea Tree)
Aftershave: Barber No3 Marmara
Additional Care:
Alum Block
And the key take-away? Well… don’t get rid of your shaving soaps yet. Better than plain water, less good than olive oil.
Another fine Friday shave. The “Airline” Tech is a very smooth shaver, perhaps a little on the light side but that is part of its charm.

A nice shave on a day off.
Razor: Gillette Airline Tech
Blade: Treet Platinum
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Badger
Pre-Shave: Proraso Pre Shave Cream
Aftershave: Barber No3 Marmara
Additional Care:
Alum Block
A late shave after spending a couple of hours snowblowing…

The last shave away from home for a while… and while the shave was good, I do look forward to shaving in my own den.

Razor: Gillette Old Type “Khaki”
Blade: Lord Classic
Brush: Omega #50014 Travel
Lather: Derby Shave Stick
Aftershave: Krampert’s Finest Bay Rum
Additional Care:
Alum Travel Stick
Is there a better way to start a fresh year than with a refreshing shave? I would say no, but then again… I am somewhat biased in favour of nice shaves.

Last shave of the year, and I’m not even in my own den… still a great shave, though with a razor that is one hundred and six years old by now.

A fine Friday shave as we approach the end of this year.
