A lot of modern shave gear can be seen as part of a walled garden; a term most often used around computers that describe a closed platform where a single entity (provider) has control over applications, content, and media, and restricts convenient access to non-approved applications or content.
I realised I haven’t been on Twitter in a long time, since it has been turning into a cesspool after it was bought and renamed.
So I decided to ditch it completely, deactivating my account.
After all, Reddit, Tumblr, Mastedon, Lemmy, and Bluesky ought to be enough – in addition to my blog, of course
Possible a little out of the ordinary for this blog, but it made me smile when I found it.
