Wet Shaving Products Matterhorn Beard Oil – very quick review

A while back I received a small 1 oz bottle of beard oil from WSP.

There is not too much to say about it really; the oil work very well, the smell is pleasant but quite strong. If you’re after a beard oil and either prefers or wants a scent that lingers all day, this is a pretty good one.

Shaving while traveling

In my experience there are two kind of travel.. the kind where you stay (and shave) in a hotel, and the kind where you’re happy to have time and water to shave with…

My kit don’t changes too much between the two, and the only real difference is the razor. For the former, I have a nice vintage Gillette khaki set from 1918, for the later I have a Merkur 985CL open comb travel razor. They are both nice razors, but I would feel quite bad if my Khaki went missing or broke.

As for the rest… a travel sized aftershave, a shavestick, a travel brush, some beard oil, alum and blades. Everything you need for a moment of zen away from home.

New haul

Brutalt Bra Limited Edition for the Shave Nook – Norwegian Wood, spruce scent. Smells like the woodshed do after you split all of the winters firewood… I like it a lot, and I haven’t even shaved with it yet.

Also a NOS Schick “Lady Eversharp” Injector razor, almost direct from the back room of a Greek store. Not just for the ladies, it’s my first injector. Came with two NOS blades, but I might keep those and just use new blades with it.
