Old movies can be fun to watch at times. This short one features – as the title suggest – a quick shave and brush up. And that is about it… more or less.
It is – at least for me – interesting to watch. The man lathers up, without taking his skirt of. Then he shaves – although the speed suggest it is a dulled razor – more or less conforming to the direction of beard grow. A quick wipe, where I would have rinsed with water. And then some scent and some talc.
The film was directed by George Albert Smith, an early British film pioneer whom also developed the first successful colour film process.
