Gifts&Care are selling a solidarity advent calendar this year to raise money and awareness for the ongoing just ended volcanic eruption at La Palma. Let’s see what is in the twenty-fifth bag!

A very nice Christmas card and thank you note from the Gifts & Care team, thanking for contributing a grain of sand to their project. And a discount code too, so I can buy the full sized versions of some of the things I’ve gotten in the calendar this year.

There is still a need to support the people of La Palma – while no lives have been lost as far as I know, more than thirteen hundred houses have been destroyed in addition to churches, schools, clinics and other infrastructure have been destroyed and needs rebuilding.
